Support Mostafa's Journey with MS

I first encountered and came to know Mostafa Elostaz while studying at the University of Washington and had taken a few Arabic courses he had taught. Throughout the years, we remained in contact. A vibrant, intellectual, and witty personality, along with a passion for teaching, motivated his students.
Mostafa was born and raised in Palestine, and later migrated to Kuwait and Egypt before beginning university life in the US. After graduating from his initial degrees in history and philosophy, he completed his JD law degree from Ohio State University. Longing to return and contribute to his native land, Mostafa returned to Palestine, where he taught courses in law at a university before taking up several positions in conflict resolution with various foundations.
During his teaching career, Mostafa left an everlasting impression with his students via a passion for creating dialogue, interaction, critical thinking with a healthy blend of humor. His students recall and cherish their learning experiences and his appropriate epithet with his family name in Arabic, 'Elostaz' or 'The Teacher'.
After being diagnosed with MS (multiple sclerosis), the disease has progressed. Currently, Mostafa resides with his brother in Houston, TX and his family is undertaking responsibility for his care, while seeking further assistance for rehabilitation services with government programs. Any financial assistance and aid would alleviate current expenses, allow for improved medical facilities via equipment/supplies and as an intermediary step towards relocation to an appropriate rehabilitation facility.
