Support Mountainside Track & Field 2022-23

Mountainside Track & Field continues to strive toward their goal of being known as one of the best track programs in the state of Oregon. We are looking to further solidify our position as being a top team in the Metro League and beyond. Funds raised from this campaign will be used directly to support the student athletes of Mountainside Track & Field.
Targeted areas for investment include:
Improving and maintaining our equipment used for training and competitions. Equipment investment would include:
- Creation of additional training spaces for throwers, specifically discus and javelin, to allow increased training repetitions.
- Purchase of pit covers for our long jump/triple jump pits.
- Permanent Track & Field record board for interior of the school. Additional printed banner of record board for the stadium facility.
- Maintenance of hurdles, high jump crossbars, pole vault crossbars, and jump pits
- Begin savings for purchase of high quality starting blocks
New team issued gear for students athletes
- 2023 team shirt
- Maintain inventory of team uniform (singlets, shorts, and rain jackets)
Invest in larger coaching staff to better cover all event groups
- Support professional development of coaching staff
- Retain staff by funding coaching stipend(s) if funds not available through District
Results of past fundraising efforts have resulted in:
- Team shirt for every member of the 2022 Track & Field team as well as track meet support staff
- Purchase of four new pole vault poles
- Purchase of one girls and one boys competition quality javelin
- Team barbeque at the end of the season
- Prizes for “Anything but a water bottle day”
- Gift for 2022 State qualifiers
- Support of 2022 State Trip

More information about Mountainside PACT: Mountainside PACT supports clubs and programs for Mountainside High School in Beaverton OR. Our mission is to provide the best experience to all students by supporting a diverse set of enrichment programs, clubs and activities within the school. Many of our programs are student designed and student led, helping our next generation of entrepreneurs gain valuable leadership and business skill sets. We are a community team and strive to involve all aspects of our Mountainside family in these efforts.
