Support Mrs. Lilly's Medical Journey

Many of you have had the wonderful, Mrs. Lilly, as your child’s classroom teacher…and if you haven’t, she probably did something behind the scenes that directly impacted your kiddo in a positive way. Be it student council, organizing school wide field trips to the zoo or bowling, Mrs Lilly has gone above and beyond for all students at St. Dominic.

Right as the school year was coming to a close, Mrs. Lilly found out she will have to have a double mastectomy this summer. She had a borderline phyllode tumor removed in May. It was recommended to have a preventative mastectomy to alleviate any reoccurrence.

It’s no secret that teachers are not in it for the money, especially Catholic School teachers! We’re beyond blessed that Mrs. Lilly continues to say “yes” to this calling year after year…23 years and counting to be exact!!

Typically, during the summer, Mrs. Lilly tutors or teaches Driver’s Ed classes. This summer those options weren’t feasible given the impending surgery. In addition, her husband will have to take off of work for several weeks to care for her.

Let’s show Mrs. Lilly just how grateful we are for her many years of taking care of our kids and loving them like her own. Any contribution will help to make the already mounting bills more manageable.

If you aren’t able to contribute, Mrs. Lilly will take any prayers for a successful surgery and smooth healing process so she can get back to another year of teaching our kids at St. Dominic!
