Betty Montes,
Was loved and adored by everyone she came in contact with. Her memory lives on through many.
Ms. Betty truly loved and gladly watched, and taught numerous kids, of our neighbors apart of the Red Bluff Community.
She loved working for the Red Bluff School District. Above anything she did she always put God first. Alongside keeping her relationship with God strong. During her time here on this plane of existence. She had 5 kids. Chris, Jose, Psyché, Alicia, & Paula. Two of her children,(Psyché & Chris) had passed before her. Though now she joins and rejoices with them in heaven watching over those who she dearly loved that are still here.
Ms. Betty was more than a God fearing woman. She was a dear friend, a dedicated mother, a patient grandmother, a joyous great-grandmother, & beloved teacher. Family meant everything to her. From trying to understand Dianjlo her complicated grandson, always being there for her daughters Alicia & Paula, to taking care of & bearing the responsibility of uniting her grandkids from her deceased daughter Psyché so they could grow up closer & have each other.
Ms. Betty, originally born in the Bronx, NY on February 26th of 1954, took pride in being a New Yorker. She loved her Puerto Rican culture. Embracing it from cooking traditional Puerto Rican dishes that always filled the stomachs of those who ate with joy. To blaring Salsa music singing to some of her favorite artists such as, Marc Anthony, Hector Levoe, & Elvis Crespo.
To watching her novelas.
Ms. Betty moved to California sometime in the late 90's. Leaving behind her sister & brothers back in New York. She was loved dearly by her nieces, cousins, and other close relatives, friends, and family.
There's so much good to say about Ms. Betty that quite frankly there's not enough space for me to write. To those who may have had a bad experience with Ms. Betty. The only thing that I can say is, what she would say. "Not everyone is perfect, Tomorrow is a new day. All we can do is learn from our mistakes, put God first and always remember to pray."
Her final wishes were to have a casket burial & funeral & laid to rest in the city of her birth, The Bronx, NY. All donations are contributing to her casket, her headstone, her transportation from California to the Bronx New York, and all funeral preparations.
Ms. Betty did her best to always try to help, whether it was with her own kids, her grandkids, or the kids from the school district. She gave when she could and when she couldn't she humbled herself and asked for help. She always made sure to put God first in everything she did.
I humbly ask to look within yourselves and help contribute to making her final wishes come true. Bendición & Que Dios te bendiga.
