Support Ms. Rebecca's Memorial Fund

Ms. Rebecca was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in April 2021. She went through surgery and chemo at that time. She was a strong and brave woman. She managed to recover and return to her Kid's World family in the fall of 2021.

Ms. Rebecca has always been a fighter. She served our country proudly in the Navy in her younger years after graduating from Musselman High School. She has been an advocate for her son Christian (8) over the years for the best medical care and education that he needs. She has been a strong supporter of her daughter Amadeah (16) through 4-H and basketball. Her road in life has not been an easy one, but she chose to rise above. She found love and married 2 years ago to a man that accepted her children as his own and loved her dearly.

Fast forward to July 2024, Ms. Rebecca fell ill and ended up making several hospital visits. It was discovered that the cancer had returned. She now had stage 4 cancer. She began radiation and chemo. She was determined to fight and beat this horrible disease.

It is with great sadness that we share the cancer overtook Ms. Rebecca's body. Treatments were stopped. Ms. Rebecca said she was ready to meet her Creator. As we went to visit her in her final days, she was telling us that she will be looking down over us and the children she had the opportunity to work with at Kid's World. Ms. Rebecca has no more pain or suffering now. She went to meet her Creator today (10/16/2024).

Ms. Rebecca has shown love and support for our families of Kid's World since 2016. She enjoyed coming to work with the children each day and trying to make an impact on their precious lives.
