Support Ms.Donna’s Battle against Breast Cancer

On August 21st, 2024, Donna was diagnosed with Ductal Carcinoma Breast Cancer. She is set to have a lumpectomy and breast reduction surgery on 10/9/24. Her recovery time will be 6 weeks. After her recovery period, she will have to start 4 weeks of radiation. She will also have to be on hormone treatment for the next 5 years.

I’m creating this GoFundMe for Donna Waldrop, also known as Ms. Donna, Mom, or Granny. She is an amazing wife and mother to 4 children, and an even more amazing grandmother to 10 grandchildren. She teaches Art, Fruit of the Spirit, and Enrichment at RSMA.

Anyone who has met Ms. Donna knows that she is one of the kindest people you will ever meet! She’s full of life and always positive with a smile on her face. The love that she has for everyone, especially her students, is unmatched! I was so heartbroken when Ms. Donna told me that cancer is taking away one of her greatest joys, being with the children.

Ms. Donna will not be returning to school for a while after the fall break as she will be recovering from her surgery and continuing her treatment. Let’s come together as a community to show Ms. Donna how much we love and appreciate her for everything she does for us and the children.

This fundraiser is being set up to help alleviate some of the stress and financial strain on Ms.Donna, her only focus right now should be on beating cancer . Every donation, no matter how small will make a difference. Your contribution will go towards medical and living expenses and ensuring Ms.Donna has the support she needs during this challenging time.
