Beloved Folx! Today is my 56th birthday, the four year anniversary of the WHWN Zoom Writing Workshops, and over 30 years of my service editing and coaching writers. In all that time, I have had the great good honor of working with hundreds of writers, and seeing many poems, articles, short stories, novels, and nonfiction books come to print. You might have read a few.

Last year, I gave away over $8,000 in discounted and pro bono editing and coaching work. In 2024, I worked with many writers who might not have been able to access editors and coaches charging only the industry standard, and while my own fees are below those standards, they would still be beyond the financial capabilities of many writers, especially BIPOC, LGBTIAA++, and other writers. Because I am committed to working with writers no matter their financial situation, I am asking for your support to keep this commitment sustainable.
