Support My Dream Come True: MA Psychodynamic Psychotherapy

I am reaching out to you with an exciting opportunity to help me pursue my passion and make a significant impact in the field of mental health. I have been working in the mental health field for the past 8 years, providing support to individuals facing mental health challenges. My experience includes volunteering in various settings, particularly with non-profit organizations, as I strongly believe that mental health support should be accessible to everyone. I also trained to become a giggle doctor (clown therapy) to work and communicate with children with special needs.

I have been accepted into an MA program in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy at the Tavistock and Portman NHS London, a rigorous and transformative training that will enable me to continue my dedication and support thousands of people in need. However, I need your support to make this dream a reality.

Tuition and Associated Costs

The total cost of the program is substantial, and while I am deeply committed to this path, I cannot cover the expenses alone. Here is a breakdown of the costs involved:

Tuition Fees: £7,600 per year

Personal Therapy: £80 per session (once weekly for the entire duration of the training)

Supervision: £60 per session (once weekly, 44 weeks each academic year)

Professional Indemnity Insurance: £40 per year

Financial Assistance and Shortfall

The maximum funding I can receive through student finance is up to £12,167 for the full three years of the program. Unfortunately, there are no scholarships or grants available for this course that I qualify for. This leaves me with a significant shortfall:

Total Shortfall: £3,545

Additional Required Funding: £6,200 to cover all additional course costs
