Support My Family's Recovery After Eaton Canyon Fire
Donation protected
The Eaton Canyon fires have completely upended my family’s life. My parents lost the only house I’ve ever called home—a place filled with love, memories, and everything we’ve built together. Along with our home, we lost our photo albums, cherished family heirlooms, and irreplaceable artifacts from my enslaved ancestors—pieces of our history that connected us to our roots and told the story of our resilience.
My parents are now left with nothing and have been forced to move in with me in my one-bedroom apartment. I’m currently in my last semester of law school, juggling the demands of classes, bar exam preparation, and my upcoming bar expenses. This incredibly difficult time and we are all stretched thin both emotionally and financially.
I’ve started this GoFundMe to raise funds for my family while we figure out the next steps to rebuild our lives. The money raised will help alleviate some of the financial strain during this challenging time.
Your kindness and support mean the world to us. Whether through a donation, sharing this campaign, or simply keeping my family in your thoughts, every little bit helps as we work to get back on our feet.
Thank you for being part of our journey to healing and recovery.
