Support My Journey to Become Miss New Jersey!

Hi, my name is Hannah Molitor and I am running to be this 2023's Miss New Jersey! If you don't know much about the process of the pageant and competition, a big part of making it all happen comes with the sponsorship fee that every participant needs to make. This will help me be able to afford that fee.
To tell you a little about myself if you're unaware, I am currently an accelerated sophomore at Montclair State University where I study English with a concentration in Creative Writing and a minor in film. If my study topics don't tell you, I am a huge fan of writing and film, usually together. I have been active in helping with my friends' short films and I will soon be making my own. I occasionally participate in my university's Players organization. Last year, I was involved with the Matrix Dance Show and helped backstage in the Rocky Horror Picture Show production. I was also in the Pep Band playing keyboard, though playing is now just a simple hobby of mine.
My goal for this competition is to raise awareness for women in the film industry, both behind and in front of the camera. As a woman in film, I aspire to create stories about and uplift other women so that they can fully express their ideas and stories. Though the industry seems to be inching more toward diversity, women continue to face hardships just because of their gender. I'd like to be a role model for other girls that want to pursue this career and know that they have so many people that support them.
I decided to apply to this pageant to gain skills such as public speaking and for the opportunity to meet with like-minded women. By that, I mean women who dream big and put themselves out there. I hope to get experience out of this opportunity and represent my state, county, and university in this competition!
If I do win, I will be partially donating my prize money to YWCA USA. This organization aims to fight against racism as well as provide a helpful for survivors of domestic and sexual violence. They also tackle other social issues that are prevalent in society today. Keeping women safe no matter who they are is a top priority of mine and I believe that I have a duty to help other women with any money that I receive.
Thank you for reading and supporting my journey! If you can't donate monetarily, sharing is just as helpful!
