My name is Leslie Castillo-Ortiz and I am a current student intern at Palmer College of Chiropractic Clinics.

I’m honored to have been selected to join the FICS TWG25 Research Selection Committee, representing the International Federation of Sports Chiropractic (FICS) and the field of sports chiropractic research at The World Games 2025 in Chengdu, China in August.

This is an incredible opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research in sports chiropractic while participating in a prestigious global event that showcases elite athletes from around the world. As part of the research team, I will help advance our understanding of chiropractic care in high-performance sports settings and elevate its role in athlete health and performance.

However, this opportunity requires self-funded travel. I’m raising funds to help cover essential expenses, including airfare, accommodations, and local transportation. Your support will directly enable me to be on the ground, making a meaningful impact in both the scientific and athletic communities.
