Support my Journey to WJMC

My name is Dylann and I am a 10th-grade student at Jensen Beach High School. I’m looking to raise funds to attend the Washington Journalism and Media Conference (WJMC) this summer! I am proud to be selected for this program based on my academics and passion for journalism and media. During this 6-day program, I would have the opportunity to learn from talented leaders of the industry, as well as work with my peers in simulations and group discussions to get a taste of what a career in journalism might look like. Attending this conference would further my leadership skills, allow me to explore potential careers, strengthen my knowledge and experience in the industry, and grant me time to focus on my passion for writing and improve further. The WJMC will also earn me a college credit for my work.

I am able to cover expenses such as travel and food, but I will require sponsorships in order to fully cover the tuition cost. All donations will be graciously accepted and put towards my tuition of $2600 to attend the conference.
