Support my Mother's critical treatment. Save her life.

We would be incredibly grateful for any help you would be kind enough to offer us in this very difficult time in our lives.

In 2018, my mother was diagnosed with thyroid cancer. By the end of 2018 she had surgery to remove the thyroid and parathyroid glands. Two days later she had a second operation and removed the submandibular lymph nodes.

Six months later my mother underwent radionuclide therapy, it was very painful for her. She had a hard time with this therapy.

In 2023 my mother was diagnosed with uterine detachment and had surgery, but this caused a complication on the spine. Then one knee gave out and there were falls. My mother was taken to neurosurgery, where a hernia of the spine was discovered. Surgery was performed, and there was a long rehabilitation.

In June 2024 the condition worsened, the tests turned out to be bad, so my mother needs a PET examination. The treatment my mother needs will not be available without first waiting for many months. This long wait isn’t possible as her physical health is quickly becoming worse and her mood is being severely negatively impacted with the stress of worrying about what will happen to her if she doesn’t receive the treatment she needs soon.

She rarely goes outside anymore and never without me, her daughter, as this health situation has caused her to experience so much anxiety, sadness and fear.

She can receive the treatment she needs much sooner in Spain, but we don’t have the money to afford the plane tickets for me to bring her there, appointment with oncologist and PET examination.

We are deeply thankful for your generous support. The funds will help give my Mother the treatment that will save her life.
