Support my Mum's fight to Keep Her Home

This is my mum’s story. She’s a true fighter, someone who’s overcome unimaginable hardships just to be here with us. After years of struggling with her health, she finally received a double heart-lung transplant last Christmas. It was a miracle we had prayed for – the gift that meant we could hold onto her a little longer.

But now, just as we were starting to rebuild and embrace this new chance at life, she faces an overwhelming battle that we never saw coming. A close family member is trying to take her home away, her safe haven and the place where so many memories are held. This isn’t just a legal fight; it’s a fight for her peace, her stability, and her right to keep the home that has been her sanctuary through everything.

Throughout her life, my mum has shown nothing but resilience. Even when her body was failing her, even while waiting for that miracle transplant, she cared for us, her two children. She never gave up, not once. Now, as she returns to work and tries to find normalcy again, she’s being asked to pay enormous legal fees just to protect what’s hers. The costs have become overwhelming, and her lawyer now needs $50,000 upfront to continue her case.
