Support My Parents after their house was wrecked into

Hi guys. As you may have heard on the news, my parents house was wrecked into on January 3rd at or around 12 am. Tons of damage including two of my dad’s truck, and their camper were totaled. Due to the vehicle that crashed into them all being stolen, police left my parents stating “the rest is at their expense”. That left my parents with a flipped over truck in the next yard, and a smashed camper. THEY had to call a tow truck to get them removed off the neighbors lawn. (The driver of the other truck smashed into my parents vehicles and camper pushing it into the neighbors side lawn). As you know Christmas just passed and my parents are left without my dad’s main work truck that had all of his tools in. With that being said I’m wanting to do my best to help them. They were left with lots of trauma, anxiety and fear, the last thing I want them to stress is worrying about finding a new work truck plus paying for damages and tow trucks because they are still sitting in their yard. Anything helps and is much appreciated!

UPDATE: home owners insurance has said they can’t help pay for the damage, we are trying to find a lawyer to sue IF possible or get my dad atleast a cheap truck for work. My mom still has her car but my dad is currently borrowing a truck. This should have never happened for one, and for two my parents should have never been left with a mess, and dealing with a totaled camper & truck.

the second truck that was hit wasn’t being used so they really don’t care about that one.
