Support my sister Christina Gojcaj battling cancer

Donation protected
Dear Family, Friends and loved ones.

We come to you today with a heavy heart and a plea for help for my sister and part of our Albanian community. My sister Christina is a loving mother to Robert and wife to Rrok Lulash Gojcaj.

In March of 2024 Christina visited her doctor with symptoms of dizziness, weakness, bruising and swelling on her body. After extensive testing she was diagnosed with stage 2B bilateral inflammatory breast cancer at Beaumont hospital.

As a 48-year-old mother, my sister is no stranger to struggles, she has been raising her 12-year-old son Robbie, who was born 4 months premature and is suffering from cerebral palsy. Robbie requires constant attention, from carrying him to and from the car to always monitoring his oxygen and constant visits to the hospital where she stays with Robbie for weeks on end. For those who have a family member or friend with a special needs child, you know how difficult this is for a parent, let alone one who is unable to physically tend to their child due to cancer. Christina has just begun her journey of battling breast cancer and has 4 more chemotherapy treatments left followed by a double mastectomy surgery, radiation, and a year of immunotherapy if all her prior treatments go well. This treatment is very expensive and she is struggling financially to afford her own treatment as well as continuously affording services for her son.

While her journey has just begun, my sister is fighting to continue to be the mother my nephew needs while pushing through her grueling treatments in hopes of beating breast cancer. God has given our family yet another cross to carry, but she remains hopeful that through prayer and her families support, she will be here to celebrate many more of Robbie’s birthdays.

It is one of the most difficult things to do to ask others for support, we humbly ask for your generosity with any contributions you can make, your kindness will make a significant difference in being able to afford her treatments, along with providing for her special needs son on a single income household.

I want to thank each and every person in advance who has read this, shared, or donated to help my sister. Please continue to keep Christina and her son in your thoughts and prayers and please share this GoFundMe with others. Thank you so much!
