Support My Wife's Cancer Battle

Donation protected
My wife was recently diagnosed with Stage 4 breast cancer at 28 years old. She was hospitalized on May 30th due to severe back pain. She had countless MRI's, CT scans, X-rays done during her stay. Little did we know that her back pain was due to a metastatic lesion causing a fracture in her thoracic spine. She also had a breast biopsy to confirm what type of breast cancer she had. We now know that she has ER+ PR- HE2- breast cancer. Her current treatment plan will include Lupron, an injection to induce menopause, Letrozole and bone strengthening injections. The cancer is feeding off the estrogen in her body and she is at greater risk for fractures. Lupron, unfortunately will cost roughly around $1600 every 12 weeks and treatment will last minimum of 2 years.

As we navigate this journey, we humbly ask for any financial assistance as we proceed on. Your contribution will help cover medical costs such as medications and imaging that she may need throughout her treatment.

UPDATE

A lot has changed during this past weeks. Unfortunately, my wife suffered more spinal fractures which has left her in constant pain and dependent on her needs such as showering, eating, and toileting. Her PET scan confirmed various metastatic lesions that we didn’t know about such as a lesion on her left femur head as well as another metastatic lesions on T11. She got results from bone biopsy a week ago which confirmed that we needed to start chemo and treat the cancer as a triple negative.

On 06/24 she was taken to the ER due to pain, muscle twitching and sudden confusion. They found high levels of calcium on her blood. She was admitted to the hospital and since have been trying to flush out the calcium. She suffered another fracture on her c7 spine and she will be on a neck collar and will need assistance 24/7. Oncologist recommended to start chemo ASAP and as of today 06/25 she started her first chemo treatment. Since ill be taking many days off of work to take care of her we humbly ask again for any donations or sharing that will help cover medical and housing costs. We are eternally grateful for those who have donated at this time.
