SUPPORT MYA'S JOURNEY TO A STABLE FUTURE

Hi!

My name is Mya, and I am 22 years old. I'm an artist and a student.

Two years ago, God saved me from suicide, and since then, my life has been in pursuit of His kingdom and love. I left film school in New York, reconnected with my family in Portugal, and began a whole healing process and spiritual recovery. From not knowing God at all to living for Him.

To make a long story short, I was called to make the move to Los Angeles, which was miraculous in itself, and I have been grinding non-stop ever since. I have been in and out of hotels & Airbnbs, sleeping on friends' floors, couches, and air mattresses within the last couple of months. Today, March 31st, 2024, I must leave my living arrangement, and I have nowhere to go, and the car I had was broken into and is unusable. It has been extremely challenging, and every day is uncertain. It has come to the point where I've run out of resources, options, and finances. I am not only dried up in that regard but completely burned out both physically and mentally.

I start film school on the 8th of April, and all I desire is stable living conditions, a place to finally set my life up and build from, and start this new chapter energized and excited so that I can show up as my best self. Looking for adequate housing has not been easy, especially when looking for affordable units, but I am steadily in search of it.

The difference between me and achieving this is Finances. I moved here on Faith, I'm running on Faith. Faith is what kept me alive, Faith is what pushed me to heal, and faith is what keeps me going regardless of any adversity that comes my way. It has also led me to be vulnerable; All this I accredit to God alone.

Any amount of help is greatly appreciated and anything beyond the goal is truly a blessing.
