Support Myers Graham

On Friday, September 6, 2024, at about 8am Myers was riding his bike to school when a driver struck him. Myers was in the crosswalk at Baseline with the yellow lights flashing. He was transported to Good Sam/Intermountain Health in Lafayette. Upon arrival at the ER, Myers was assessed and immediately went into emergency surgery to remove his spleen. Heather was on her way to the airport but was able to turn around and be with Myers at the ER minutes after his arrival. And while Meyers had a very good helmet on, he also suffered a skull fracture that was monitored closely but ultimately resulted in a traumatic brain injury (TBI). Several days later, a chest x-ray uncovered a displaced clavicle. Myers underwent another surgery on Thursday to place a plate to heal the clavicle.

As of Monday, Sept 16th, Myers remains in the ICU and is healing from his injuries, most significantly the TBI. This will likely be a very long recovery, but we are seeing positives signs. Since the day of the accident Heather, Andy and Cooper have been by his side, along with family and friends.

This page is dedicated to supporting the Graham family with expenses related to the accident. Myers will be transferred for rehabilitation to a facility approximately 40 miles from home, and travel will become a part of their everyday existence for a while.

The love and support they have received is overwhelming, and this fundraiser is another way to assist them on Myers' journey to regain his happy, active, and social life. Thank you for your generosity.
