Support Nae's Mom and Brothers

My name is Krista (Harris) Atkinson of Houston, MS and I am asking for your help. My dear cousin, Shirel Harris (also of Houston, MS), just experienced a mother's worse nightmare. On May 22, 2023, she initiated a search for her 16 year old daughter, Denasia McGregory (aka Nae). Sadly, Nae was found deceased in the early morning hours on May 23, 2023 in Tupelo, MS. Nae had been murdered and found in the trunk of her own car approximately 30+ miles from home. Someone who Nae trusted has been charged with her murder; however, the investigation continues.

As I prayed for Shirel's strength, I asked God to show me how to help take a load off of her. So here we are. With her approval, I am reaching out to everyone asking for a monetary donation. During this tragic event, there will be a lot of unexpected expenses combined with normal monthly obligations. I would like to help Shirel take as much time to grieve and handle the legal process without the stress of having to rush back to work prematurely. Shirel also has two sons - one in college - who are also grieving and need her support.

I pray that as a community we can bless Shirel and her family with a token of love and financial support to help her during this tragedy.
