Support Nagib Zindani’s recovery from emergent brain surgery

As many of you have heard our dear friend, Nagib Zindani (AKA Gib) was working at home and rushed to the hospital in the afternoon on Monday August 12th and found to have severe intracranial hemorrhage. He was immediately transferred to Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit and was taken to the operating room for emergent brain surgery on Monday evening. His condition remains critical in the neuro ICU; his fiancé by his side. Constant family and friend support have been brightening his days. It is unclear what the future looks like at this point but the ICU and neurosurgery team are working diligently to provide Gib with the best possible outcome.

With that said, Nagib has always been the first to lend a helping hand, positive words, and support in times of need. This is an extremely emotional time for Gib as noone is ever prepared for such a life changing and terrifying event.

Medical expenses, life expenses, rehabilitation needs, with the lack of work will soon become financially overwhelming.

I am setting up this Gofund me to help support Nagib and his fiancé and soon to be step children during this challenging time. Every donation will go directly toward covering medical and rehabilitation expenses and any other needs Nagib may have on his journey to recovery.

Update 9/18/24: After 36 days in the hospital recovering from brain surgery, learning how to walk again and use his left arm in addition to starting treatment for brain cancer, Nagib was discharged home today!!!. The reason for his acute brain bleed was a high grade Astrocytoma tumor. He is on his second week for treatment and is killing it! He has a second family now at inpatient rehab at HF Macomb and so much of his recovery is due to the excellent care he received there. He will continue working every day with outpatient PT/OT as he still has a lot he would like to accomplish.

Requesting major prayers for further physical/mental recovery and a strong army behind him and his family to beat this cancer once and for all!
