Imagine a world where the fibers of our clothes, building materials, automotive parts, and banknotes tell a story of sustainability, community, and hope!
The North American Linen Association is not just a nonprofit; it's a heartfelt movement driven by passionate individuals and businesses dedicated to reviving the flax-to-linen industry right here in North America. Together, we can transform our agricultural landscape, promote organic practices, and support local economies. By joining us, you play a vital role in cultivating a greener future for our planet—one that honors our heritage while paving the way for innovative, eco-friendly textiles. Help us weave a tapestry of resilience and sustainability, connecting everyone from farmers to fashion lovers in a shared journey toward a vibrant, sustainable industry.
Why is the North American Linen Association Fundraising?
NALA is on the path to securing the long-term sustainability of our organization, and we need YOUR help! Your contributions are not just financial support, but a vote of confidence in our mission, enabling us to adapt, grow, and continue providing the essential resources and services our members appreciate.
In just our second year of operations, NALA has made significant strides. We've seen a 59% increase in membership during the first three quarters of 2024, a testament to the value we provide. As we continue to grow and expand our programs and services, we need additional funding to support our progress.
How will your support make a difference?
Program Development: Financial resources are required to create and maintain programs, educational materials, and activities that support our members, provide valuable resources, and promote our industry.
Membership Services: NALA offers various services and benefits to our members, including training, networking events, a member resource library, and newsletters, all of which require funding for content management.
Advocacy and Awareness: Many 501(c)(6) nonprofits engage in advocacy and lobbying to influence legislation or public policy, which often demands significant financial resources. NALA also provides education and awareness about the benefits and opportunities of flax and linen as a sustainable, regenerative fiber source from North America.
Operational Costs: Funds are needed to cover essential administrative expenses, staff salaries, and other operational costs related to managing our nonprofit.
Sustainability: Regular fundraising is crucial to ensure the long-term viability of our organization, enabling it to adapt and respond to the changing needs within our sector. We hope to exceed our financial goal so we can continue to provide the resources and services that our membership values and will provide financial security for our organization.
