As an ultra-endurance athlete who has worked my entire adult life in the healthcare field, I want to continue lifting others up as I strive to go further and faster. I have chosen NAMI as a charity because mental health affects so many people in ways we may or may not see, from anxiety to autism, and depression to schizophrenia. It is NAMI's mission to provide advocacy, education, support and public awareness so that all individuals and families affected by mental illness can build better lives. With a Charity Navigator score of 98%, I am confident that the funds raised will be well utilized to support this great cause.
