Support Nana Van Esler's Recovery Journey

On Sunday, June 9, Sis Bettye “Nana” Van Esler fell while at her grandson’s wedding in San Diego, California. In the fall her right femur was broken near the hip, her head was injured, and she broke most of the ribs on her right side as well as suffering a terrible rip in her right arm.

In the ensuing week, at 90 years of age, she has astonished the doctors and rest of the medical staff with her resilience, healing, and recovery. Many times there will be a crowd of them in her room listening to her regale them with testimonies of all the God has done in her life. I’m not sure it was necessarily God instead of just a plain accident that sent her to the hospital, but she has used the time to share her faith with every one of them.

We all know her of course and none of that will surprise anyone who knows her at all. This is just a little testimony and request.

Her insurance has covered almost everything and the family the rest as available. She’s going to be sent to a rehab facility by medical transport to Tucson. 100% of funds raised will go to covering the cost of the transport ($4,000) and incidental charges not covered by insurance.
