Support Naomi and Her Fight Against Cancer

Hi, my name is Jamie and my mom, Naomi Wiser, was recently diagnosed with small cell carcinoma. It is a fast-growing, aggressive lung cancer. In January, her position was eliminated. She was given a small severance package, but left without insurance. The same month, during an annual lung scan, they spotted a change in the scan. They had her come back in 3 months and what they had spotted in January had grown. They scheduled a biopsy and determined it was cancer.

After completing her CT and MRI they determined she is considered limited phase and located three additional tumors since her scan last month. She is projected to start chemo and radiation

June 11th/12th. She will do chemo 3 days a week every 21 days for 3 months and radiation 5 days a week for 6 weeks. After the first month of chemo they will rescan to see how things are looking.
