Support Natalie Hunter's cancer treatment journey

Hi, my name is Christine and I am starting this GoFundMe to raise money for my good friend Natalie Hunter who is about to begin the biggest fight of her life.

On the 15th of February, Natalie was given the shock diagnosis of aggressive metastatic bowel cancer and rushed into emergency surgery the following morning to remove a large tumor that was obstructing her bowel. It was found then that cancer had already spread to the surrounding lymph nodes, and 2 metastases were found on her liver. This in turn means that she is going to require an immediate and aggressive course of chemo and radiation to fight this battle, as well as further surgeries down the track.

Natalie is a young 43yr old single mum to her two beautiful children James and Evie and has made a name for herself over the past 20yrs on the Sunshine Coast in the make-up industry with her business (Natalie Hunter Makeup Artist). She has also worked regularly at Smile by Design dentistry for many years.

Natalie has always worked hard and independently support her family, but after the massive losses over the past few years with covid, the rising cost of living and now her inability to continue working, this has found her in a very difficult situation of not being able to fully support her family as she has always done. The losses that come with canceling months of work and returning many deposits have taken a massive toll and that is the last thing Natalie needs to be thinking about when she is about to begin the fight of her life.

For all that know Nat, you would know that she is the most caring and loving person who Is always there to help a friend out whenever they need. I want to return this gift to her and ensure that she has one less thing to worry about and can just focus on her family and getting through her treatment.
