Support Nate's Journey to a Kidney Transplant
Donation protected
If you know me well, you know it is extremely difficult to ask for help with anything and that I would never do so if I didn’t need it.
You may know that a year ago now I was diagnosed with kidney failure and started dialysis. It’s been an interesting journey waiting on the opportunity for a kidney transplant and a bit of a roller coaster ride of expectations. I’ve enjoyed a ton of love and support from friends and family and couldn’t have endured this year without all of you.
The financial burden on myself and my family has been significant. I’m extremely lucky to be in a place to receive help from my family and from the government but If you’ve ever experienced anything like this you know that these assistance programs are a mess and take months to even kick in and in a very limited capacity. My family even in their totally selfless means of support can only do so much. So I find myself in a place where the credit cards are maxed out and bills are not getting paid.
Im setting this goal for $50,000. Which is insane. But it will barely cover what I owe at this point and provide funds to hopefully make it to the transplant.
I’ve never done anything like this. But I’m formally asking for help. I can’t say thank you enough for contributing, for sharing, for being there. I’d be nothing without my friends and family. Please understand I’ll pay it forward the first chance that I get…
Thanks again.
