Support Nate's Recovery After Major Heart Surgery

This is my friend Nate. I had the pleasure of meeting him and his wife, Holly, at the beginning of their recovery journey about 2 1/2 years ago. Earlier this week, Nate very unexpectedly (at age 35) had a major heart attack resulting in open-heart surgery.

Nate and Holly have overcome so many obstacles together, not only in their recovery, but I watched firsthand their tenacity in regaining custody of their 3 children. They worked tirelessly on their home and have been doing so well with maintaining good employment, and they have rarely asked for help.

They didn’t ask for me to do this, but I know Nate is their primary source of income and this family has been through so much! It’s not only expensive to have a family member in the hospital with traveling back and forth and having to buy a lot of meals out, but there are bills that have to be paid and things growing children need.

Holly is pursuing all assistance options, but even if she gets them, it won’t be enough for a family of 5. I hope you’ll make any donation you can so they can focus on Nate’s healing and supporting the kids during this difficult road ahead.
