Support NAU's Oldest Club: Arizona Playmakers Fundraiser
Donation protected
Arizona Playmakers (AZP) is the oldest club at Northern Arizona University of Flagstaff. This is a club that hosts and supports a variety of student-led activities from student-written and designed plays to improv shows. Students write plays in the Fall semester and a committee picks 6 of those to put on in a ten-minute play festival called "New Works" in Spring.
Naughty Bits is our resident improv troupe, housed by AZP, that puts on a variety of shows across both semesters and goes to a Collegiate Improv Conference known as FRACAS in Los Angeles to learn how to better hone their Improvisational skill set.
We have two goals for this fundraiser. The first is to be able to send 12 students to FRACAS. Between conference tickets, travel, and hotel rooms, it can become costly to send so many members of the team, but the workshops students can attend and the experience they can gain by attending is more than worth the cost. We would need $800 bring 6 people, $1,400 for 8 and for 12 people we would need $2,500.
The secondary goal would be to be able to provide a costume budget for the 6 New Works plays, with the goal being $50 per play for a total of $300.
Our hope is to fund our trips and performances this semester, while also providing plenty of funds for the future generations of AZP. We are thankful for your support!
