Support Naveed's Family After Tragic Loss

Hi, I am Basharat Ali, a close friend of Naveed Afzal who, unfortunately, passed away on June 23, 2024, due to a gunshot wound to the head.

Naveed Afzal was a 52-year-old, father of four, who came to the US to support his family. A couple of months ago, he spent all of his money to buy a car to start his business of taxi services. About 1 month ago, he got his TLC license and started driving.

On June 21, 2024, Thursday at 10 PM in Brooklyn, New York, he was completing his last ride of the day when two merciless people got into his car. From there, things are unclear, but what happened in the end was very tragic. He was shot in the head by one of the two people who later robbed him and fled the scene. He was immediately transported to the hospital where he was admitted in critical condition in a coma. Sadly, today, after 2 days of suffering, he passed away.
