Support NC Hurricane Relief Effort
Donation protected
After physically witnessing the devastation caused by Hurricane Helene in Western North Carolina, a small group wanted to help make a difference. So, they volunteered and have already purchased and delivered $1,300 worth of supplies, with both physical and monetary donations coming in every single day.
With the assistance of Dollar Days (a wholesaler that assists relief efforts), we purchase supplies in bulk, break them down into "kits," and deliver them all across Western NC.
We asked the people what they needed and it was heartbreaking to see how many basic items ranked in high demand, and many community members rally to the stores to get them sent over, but we noticed something.
We realized that if you buy these things from wholesale, you get way more supplies at a fraction of the cost, making every single dollar have that much more of a positive impact on our efforts to provide relief to others in such a distressing period of their lives and the lives of their families. Thankfully, Kristina at Dollar Days helps us ensure every dollar counts.
Praying that we have success with receiving the funds to accomplish this, we will continue to seek funds to make this a perpetual relief effort. When all big relief organizations start pulling away to assist with other disasters in our nation, and the media reports less and less on this natural disaster, we will continue to be there and ensure nobody is going without assistance.
