Support Needed for a Devoted Grandma's Farewell

Donation protected
My mom went in for knee replacement surgery on 10/08/2024, which she had been waiting so long for as she wanted to be able to get around and be with her family as much as possible, but on 10/10/2024 she unexpectedly went into cardiac arrest and it took more than 7 minutes to revive her. Since then she has been in ICU, on a ventilator and completely sedated. We started becoming extremely hopeful as she was starting to respond to simple questions and commands, such as squeezing our hands. Even under heavy sedation, she was able to keep open her eyes and see everyone there. By Monday, she had started being able to breathe without much help from the machine and the doctors were talking about removing the breathing tube in a day or so. Around 5;30 Wednesday night, I received a call stating that my mom had taken a turn for the worse so I got my kids together and immediately went to the hospital. When I got there I was told that my mom had developed pneumonia, her pupils were non-reactive, she wasn’t responding to sound or stimulation, her skin had turned yellow and her kidneys had already shut down. All of the sedative medication and pain medication has been stopped and the doctor doesn’t expect her to make it through the night. If she does, then we will have to make the decision to remove her breathing tube. This is the hardest decision we will ever have to make , but my mom has always been my families rock. Growing up she worked 2 full time jobs to support 4 kids. Her life was about giving us the best she could and doing without for herself. As we got older, we almost Lost her when I was 19. Thankfully that did not happen, but from there all she could talk about was becoming a grandma. A month after I turned 21, I granted her wish with her first grandson and granddaughter, as I had twins. 5 months later she was given another granddaughter from my older sister and within a few years she would have 7 grandkids. She absolutely loved for her grandkids and refused to let us put any of them in daycare, she took care of every single one. At one point she was taking care of 5 grandkids all under the age of 3, but she wouldn’t have had it any other way. Over the years she continued to care for her grandkids, attended all of their events, never missing a birthday and was always there when they needed her, she was completely devoted to each of them. All of her grandkids have such a special and tight bond with her, that it is absolutely amazing to see and I could only hope for the same when I become a grandma. My mom has the biggest heart and would do anything and everything for anyone that needed her, but never wanted or expected anything in return. The world is losing the most amazing person I have known and have had the privilege to call mom, but heaven is truly gaining an Angel. My mom has been on disability since I was 19 and has not been able to obtain any kind of life insurance. So I am asking from the bottom of my heart to please get the help I need to give her the funeral that an angel deserves. I would greatly appreciate any help I can get. Unfortunately we know that today will more than likely be the last day we have with her and I update will service information later. Again, thank you from my entire family for any help you are able to provide.
