Support Needed for Charlotte Ann Shelby's Burial

My name is Tim and on Aug 1st 2024 my mom Charlotte Ann Shelby passed away suddenly. She went to the hospital to have something removed from her hand and while there the Doctors said she had Pneumonia. During their test they discovered she was in Renal failure and within 24 hours she passed. While we were at the funeral home we found out that she did not have life insurance. We couldn’t go extravagant with the arrangements so we had to pick out a modest casket & etc. We as her children do not have the money on hand to pay for her services and burial. The funeral home is needing the money for the opening & closing up front. We already feel guilty that we couldn’t pick out better arrangements for our mom who deserves it. We do not have assets to sell or the credit for a loan to get this done for our mom. It was suggested to us that we try gofundme and after swallowing our pride and with a heavy heart I am making this in hopes the community could help us in this time of need.
