Support Needed for Diabetic Mom's Recovery.

I currently have type 2 Diabetes, which has been out of control for a while. With the medication and diet changes, it has gotten a lot better. Then, about a month ago, I got a cut on the bottom of my foot which turned into a diabetic ulcer. With care from the 3m clinic at SFGH, we were off to a great start, then it got infected around 6/22/24. The infection got so bad they had to do emergency surgery to get the infection out and clean the foot.

We are taking it one day at a time but as of now, I can't work. I can't even walk or put weight on it. This is a big struggle for me. I'm used to going to work, being a mom, and just being active.
