Support Needed for Financial Crisis Relief

I spent the morning going through the process of giving the summarized epilogue of my past and present financial situation to set up a debt consolidation program as the nuclear option to resolve the crisis I've been in for a while now.

And then shortly after I signed all that paperwork, I got a text that due to a "serious incident" at work, I'll be suspended without pay unless I'm cleared to return to work in which case I'll be paid for any missed shifts.

But that does mean that I'm left with only $70 to my name with which to get human groceries, cat prescription groceries, litter, any meds, appointment transport for Mo, pay bills not covered by the debt plan and anything else that comes up in the mean time.

Given the unknown nature of the incident, I have no way to know how long the investigation will take or if I'm at risk of losing my job entirely or just getting reassigned to a new site if I'm not able to return to work at the same site.

Which means I don't know how we'll cover anything at all.

Nugget is low on her wet and dry prescription food.

Her litter will need to be replaced before long.

Even if I go to the store vs getting delivery, $70 won't stretch hardly at all to cover meals and snacks.

I'm already past due on a dental financing debt that's not reported to the credit reporting companies so it's not covered by the debt consolidation.

I went from a little anxious but hopeful for the eventual debt resolution to immensely stressed in a very short span of time.
