Support needed for Manuel & Eva

Dear Friends & Family,
On November 19, 2024 at 12:27am Manuel & Eva woke up to neighbours screams and fire alarms going off in their apartment building. They grabbed their 2 boys, dog Maggie and Eva’s purse and tried to evacuate as quickly as they could with wearing their pyjamas only. Its was 5 degrees outside and nowhere to go they were rushed to a different building for the remainder of the night. Once morning arrived after no rest they then discovered their home was destroyed with nothing left behind. As newcomers to Canada and no immediate family here to support them I am asking that you consider helping Eva and Manuel rebuild their lives from scratch here in Canada. As Eva, lost her mom almost 2 years ago and the grief she faces daily, Christmas was her happy time as she already had her little Christmas tree decorated to help bring her some joy at such a difficult time of year. Eva and Manuel were renters with no house insurance so they are solely alone through this incredibly difficult time.
If you can, please share this go fund me with family and friends to help bring some light back into Eva and Manuel’s life.
Since Manuel and Eva are still in the process of obtaining their permanent residence, they unfortunately don’t qualify for most supports through government resources.
