Help Lay Ruben to Rest

On July 1, 2024, my brother Ruben lost his battle against drug addiction and mental illness. He was 25 years young. If you knew Ruben, he was one of the most caring people. He wanted everyone around him to be good. He gave those types of hugs that just enveloped you. It felt like you were just wrapped up in a warm blanket. His passing comes less than two years after my other brother, Joey.

My brother’s wishes were to be buried. He was adamant that he did not want to be cremated. Unfortunately, as most of you know, funerals are an expense that most young adults haven’t planned for. I know everyone is struggling right now, so if you have anything you can spare, please know it is accepted with the deepest gratitude. If you can’t donate, please share to spread the word. The funeral and memorial services will be held in Minnesota. Once I have a date, I will share that for anyone who would like to come and pay their respects.
