To make a long story short, a few days ago I entered a program to consolidate my debt and lower my monthly payments, which were leaving my bank account consistently $300-$550 in the negative, with weekly paychecks often barely covering the overage, and me using those same credit cards to cover gas and groceries. Long term, this is going to be a good thing.

Short-term, however, my bank account is negative by $315, and I have an empty tank of gas and around $150 still to pay on the electric bill. Hopefully, this GoFundMe will give me the needed leg up to pay the electric bill and purchase gas/food over the next week or two before the power is shut off.
