Hey there, my name is Ted Herman and our family is raising money for my nieces, Nevaeh and Thalia.

This fundraiser is driven by the passing of their father, my brother, Michael (Mike) David Smith II. At 35 years old, Mike passed away on December 24, 2024.

Mike's Obituary

Michael (Mike) David Smith II, 35, of Bellevue, NE, passed away on Tuesday, December 24, 2024.

The memorial service is at 1:00 PM (CST) on Saturday, January 18, 2025, at the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Bellevue, NE. There will be no visitation or burial ceremony.

After the passing of his father, the family relocated to Nebraska where Mike was raised by his parents, April and Dayle Frazier.

Mike received his education from Bellevue Public Schools and graduated from Bellevue East High School. Combining his expertise with tech and numbers, Mike pursued secondary education in Cybersecurity and Accounting.

Mike married in 2016 (now divorced), bringing us his first daughter, Nevaeh.

In 2023, Mike united with the love of his life, Alysa Seals, and brought us Mike’s second daughter, Thalia.

Mike was a devoted father, loving son, great brother, and a joyful friend.

A message from the family:

Our hearts are broken not only for our loss but for Mike’s loss as well. At just 35 years old, Mike’s life was cut way too short. He had so much ahead of him, life to experience, and loved ones to cherish. Although losing Mike pains us, we are also proud of the life he lived and thankful for the legacy he leaves behind.
