Support New Horizon St Louis Park MN Teachers

Dear fellow families of New Horizon Academy St Louis Park,

My husband Brett and I (Kristin Horvath) set up this GoFundMe page as an opportunity for us to show our appreciation for our amazing teachers . We have two children at New Horizon Academy St Louis Park and have been at the school for over 2 years.  Jackson is in Early Pre-K and Maddie is moving into Transition. We have been thinking of how to help during the COVID-19 pandemic and are very inspired by the teachers who care for our children every day.

While the New Horizon Academy in St Louis Park remains open, enrollment has been significantly impacted. Many enrollment decisions are being made due to the Minnesota school closings, and the new stay at home order effective today. This means that many of our child care teachers now have reduced hours and flex schedules.  This will likely lead to significant financial hardships for some of our cherished child care teachers  who our children love and adore.  

I would like to invite you to consider contributing to an appreciation fund to support our beloved child care teachers.  In this time of change and stress, we'd like to provide our teachers a financial gift to help reduce the impact of lowered enrollment.  This is one small way we can show our appreciation, thankfulness and truly honor a profession – one that maybe many of us would never be able to do and have more appreciation for now than ever before.

The funds will be evenly gifted to each of the teachers and staff that work at the New Horizon Academy St Louis Park location. The amount of each gift will solely depend on the amount of funds we gather together. 

There is NO SET DONATION and we DO NOT want you to donate if it means it would be a burden on you or family during this challenging new time. If donating financially is not in your means, please feel free to write a note or letter for our childcare teachers and staff as they would love to hear your appreciation too!
