Support Nia Rae's Spelman College Thesis Film

Donation protected
Hello! My name is Nia Rae, a graduating senior at Spelman College working on creating my thesis film, Rhythms of Divinity: The Roots of Step, Stroll, and Black Unity. I am unveiling the origins of Black Greek-letter step and stroll traditions, tracing their rhythmic roots from West African dance and the transatlantic slave trade to the heart of the Black community and unity.

Your generous donations will help me provide meals for the cast and crew, cover travel expenses for essential interviews, submit the film to festivals, and compensate the talented above-the-line team who are bringing this vision to life.

My documentary Lady T, created during my sophomore year at Spelman. I aim to build on the skills I've developed to produce a compelling 15-minute thesis film that not only reflects my growth but also leaves a lasting impact on myself and the program.
