Support Nichele's Road to Recovery

Hello Colleagues, Team members and Friends,

One of our James River Cardiology employees, Nichele Cosby, was involved in a very serious car accident on May 31, 2024. Nichele works as a Lead Nuclear Technician and extends sincere care for those she comes in contact with. She was on her way home from work that evening and preparing to spend some much needed rest and relaxation the following Sunday at Kitty Hawk, North Carolina with her family. Her plans were interrupted when her vehicle was hit head on.

This accident not only changed the family vacation plans, but left Nichele with two broken hips, femurs and left wrist. Nichele is grateful to have survived the accident and is in good spirits, but her recovery period will be long with many strenuous hours of rehab ahead. It will be months before she can bear weight and she will need to relearn many of the day to day skills we all take for granted. Her recovery period is estimated to be 12 months before life is restored to any previous sense of normalcy.

Medical bills will begin to pour in soon and we would love to show Nichele and her family some much needed support at this time from her James River Cardiology and Aligned Cardio friends.
