Hello, my name is Nicholas Whitehead. I'm a dedicated special education teacher passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with special needs.

The past few years have been incredibly difficult, and as a single dad, I've been working hard to rebuild my life. Many of my students face significant challenges, including growing up in group homes or being adopted due to difficult circumstances. These children often have complex needs and face significant environmental obstacles. Despite these challenges, they are incredibly resilient and deserve every opportunity to reach their full potential.

Unfortunately, as a single dad of two, I face significant financial challenges, especially during school breaks when my income is limited. My school doesn't provide paid time off during these periods, leaving me with a substantial financial burden.

I'm determined to continue my education and pursue advanced degrees in special education to better serve my students. However, the cost of tuition and living expenses poses a significant obstacle.
