It is with profound sadness that we share the heartbreaking news of our beloved Nick’s passing. At the young age of 50, Nick tragically lost his life in a vehicle crash, leaving an unfillable void in our hearts and the hearts of many.

Nick wasn’t just an incredible educator and leader; he was a loving son, husband, father, brother, and a friend to everyone who knew him. If you were lucky enough to meet him, he was your very best friend. His life was defined by his love for others and his dedication to making a positive impact. As the principal of Mayfield Elementary School, and later, at Glen-Worden Elementary, Nick was cherished not just as an administrator but as a mentor and friend who brought joy and learning to his students. His tireless efforts were a testament to his commitment to education and the future of every child he touched.

Beyond his professional life, Nick was the rock of our family. He was a devoted husband to his beautiful wife Lisa and a proud father to his three amazing children; Austin, Alexandra and Cosimo. Our family gatherings were always filled with laughter and love, thanks to Nick’s huge heart, joyful presence and infectious spirit.

Nick had a special gift for working with children, his patience and kindness were limitless. He believed that every moment was an opportunity to make a difference, and he lived this belief every day, brightening any room with his smile. His impact on those around him was profound, and he was loved by everyone who knew him.
