Hello, my name is Nick Hissam and some of you may know me as your preferred hairstylist. I've been successfully running my own business for 7+ years, but as we all know, sometimes life gives us lemons and we have to make some lemonade with it...

On the 24th of August, while on my way home, I fell due to a slippery/wet road, which resulted in breaking a bone in my left wrist - as you can imagine, that is among the worst-case scenarios for someone who uses their hands to make a living.

At the moment of writing this, I was told by a doctor that the minimal recovery time will be about a month. I have some savings, but unfortunately, my insurance doesn't cover accidents of this kind, and I will have to pay for most procedures/recovery out of pocket.

My estimate of additional expenditure is around $5K. If you can spare anything, it will be truly appreciated.
