Support Nick Oza and his family

Our dear friend and beloved community photojournalist Nick Oza had a car accident last Friday, Sept. 3. We're sending love, light and prayers for his recovery. We are also collecting some funds that will go directly to support his family at this time. 

My name is Valeria Fernández, I'm a local journalist, an interim managing editor for the publication palabra, and I've been a friend of Nick for over 15 years.  We started this fundraiser outside social media because we were asked for privacy by Nick's family. Joshua Lott was the beneficiary but after we realized it would make the transfer of funds more complicated we have added Nick's wife. 

Thank you so much for all your support. I know what Nick would say that all this love brings tears to his eyes. And that he loves you.
