It is with a heavy heart that I am creating this fundraiser for my dear friend, Nicole, who recently experienced the unimaginable loss of her only child, her beautiful 18-year-old daughter, Gianna, or as others affectionately called her, Gigi. As a single mom, Nicole devoted her entire life to giving her daughter the best future possible, working several jobs just to squeeze by. Now, she is left navigating this profound grief while facing overwhelming financial challenges.

Gianna was a vibrant, loving and kind soul who brought joy and light to everyone who knew her. Gianna was a student at the University of Mississippi and a member of Alpha Chi Omega (AXO). At just 18 years old, her sudden passing has left an irreplaceable void in the lives of those who loved her. She was her mom’s pride, joy, and reason for pushing forward through life’s struggles.

As a single mother, Nicole has always worked tirelessly to provide for her daughter. But the unexpected costs of the services and travel expenses to gather Gianna’s items from her dorm room in Mississippi, and the emotional burden of this loss are overwhelming.
