Support Nicole and Johnathan During This Difficult Time

Dear Friends and Community,
I’m reaching out to you on behalf of my dear colleague and friend, Nicole Goad, and her family. She is a beloved teacher in our community, and she needs our help.
Back in February of this year, Nicole’s husband, Jonathan, began experiencing troubling symptoms including issues with his walking and balance. After seeking medical attention, he was admitted to the hospital where doctors discovered a large mass on his brain. Jonathan underwent brain surgery to biopsy the mass, but despite consultations with three different specialists over the past five months, they have yet to receive a definitive diagnosis.
Recently, they turned to a Neuro-oncologist at Vanderbilt who suspects Jonathan may be facing a form of cancer, potentially blood cancer or glioblastoma. The uncertainty has been agonizing for Nicole and her family as they prepare for another upcoming brain surgery scheduled for the beginning of August. This surgery represents their best hope for finally getting a clear diagnosis and starting targeted treatment.
Throughout this ordeal, Jonathan has been unable to work, placing an immense financial strain on their family. Nicole, a dedicated teacher in our community, has been by his side every step of the way, juggling working and caregiving responsibilities while trying to manage their household and expenses. The mounting medical bills and everyday costs have become overwhelming.
By contributing to this GoFundMe campaign, you can provide crucial support to Nicole and her family during this difficult time. Your donation will help cover medical expenses, monthly bills, and other essential costs so they can focus on Jonathan's recovery without the added stress of financial hardship.
Any financial assistance you can offer will make a meaningful difference in their lives. Please consider donating and sharing this campaign. And most importantly, please keep Johnathan, Nicole, and their family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
