Support Nicole Through Her Breast Cancer Journey
Donation protected
On September 29th, Nicole Drulik kicked off her 34th Birthday with a breast cancer diagnosis.
The past couple of weeks have been an absolute whirlwind. This cancer is extremely aggressive, so Nicole was rushed along as an emergency. She has been in and out of appointments for testing and scans to start her treatment immediately.
Unfortunately, the scans revealed that the breast cancer had spread to her lymph nodes and her lungs. This means Nicole has Stage IV Triple Negative Breast Cancer.
This diagnosis is both life-altering and devastating. Nicole has an extremely long road ahead of her but is convinced she will be a medical miracle! And if you know Nicole, you know that will most certainly be the case. She is resilient, young, and we are in the best possible location for medicine and hospitals.
Nicole brings happiness into the lives of everyone she meets - especially her two rescue dogs, Tucker and Pippa. She loves all animals, fall weather, all things outdoors, adventures, wine and reading. She is an enthusiastic friend and makes you feel like family.
Nicole’s oncologist has her on an aggressive chemotherapy treatment plan for the next five months. She has had two chemotherapy sessions, with a long road ahead, but is optimistic about how she's been feeling afterwards.
Depending on how the chemotherapy goes, Nicole will undergo radiation and a double mastectomy followed by breast reconstruction.
Stage IV is not something that can be “cured”. Nicole will be on a lifelong treatment plan to keep the cancer at bay. Again, knowing Nicole, this is something she will succeed at, all while donning that beautiful pearly white smile and asking how YOU are feeling or if YOU need anything.
Nicole is passionate about her Real Estate career and loves helping others achieve the dream of homeownership. She hopes to be able to work as much as she can, but Nicole knows will get to a point where she is unable to work while undergoing treatment.
Being extremely independent, Nicole loathes asking for help. She’s the first person to offer to help others, and the last person to ever ask for any help.
This cancer journey is going to take a toll on Nicole physically, mentally, and will be a major financial burden. Please help us lessen the burden by taking away a portion of the financial stress.
To know Nicole is to love her. She is one of the strongest, most resilient, independent women some of us have ever met. Whether she's been in your life forever or only for a minute, she makes you feel at home. Let's show up for her as she has done for us so many times before.
Any amount you can donate will be greatly appreciated. Please share to get the word out.
