Support Nico's Journey to Healing and Recovery

One of my son's teammates, Nico, had an traumatic accident at Saturday night's Boyertown Halloween Parade. What was meant to be a fun night for the football team to enjoy together took a quick and traumatic turn for all of those involved! As Nico reached down to grab a piece of candy he quickly became trapped under the wheels of his float's trailer.

With tremendous community support and assistance who all rushed to our aide we were able to get Nico immediate help and care. Nico was surrounded by his coaches and community members as he awaited medical attention. Nico was taken by ambulance to Lehigh Valley hospital where he is still under monitoring and treatment as he awaits surgery to repair his broken femur. The trauma unit has been angels in taking care of him. While we hope that this will be the extent of his injuries, it is a major recovery period for both him and his family aside from the trauma he has already endured.

I set-up this page to help Nico and his family and surround them with love and the support they need to get Nico back to being an 8-year old boy looking to have fun with his friends!

This money will be used to help offset any medical expenses, time off of work that is needed, and other costs they may incur so that their full focus can be on Nico's recovery.
